Hi i'm having difficulties using function keys with Motorola WT41N0 Telnet CE 7.3.192 and VT200 emulation. Random charachtes or error message key not recognized is diplayed if i'm trying to use Function keys (F1; F2 etc.) Any ideas?

I have the first timeto deal withWavelink.
Ihave the following Problem.
I havea device MC9190 withthe followingVersion OS 04.37.13 and Wavelink TelnetCE Version 7.3.146 pre installed.
ButI needtheVersion Wavelink TelnetCE 7.0.161.
I canload over Active Scnc Version 7.0.161and it works.
But after a cold start i haveagaintheVerision 7.3.146on the device ?
What am I doing wrong?
What should I doto ensure that the "new Version" does not come?

how to prevent select a host popup
On the Intermec CK71 devices a popup with the title "Select a Host" comes up periodically whenever a session has ended. The host profile is set to auto-launch, and the session is set to reconnect in the emulation settings; however it still popups and requests the user select a host profile. Can this be automated?

Connection Issue MC2180 TE-Client 7.3.197 + TermProxy 4.01
Hello,
One of our customers faces an connection issue with his Motorola MC2180 using TE-Client 7.3.197 and TermProxy 4.01 (on Windows Server) with an 5250-connection. On the mobile device a "sandclock" and "X-WAIT" is displayed in some situations and in many cases only a warm boot of the device solves this problem. The problem can occure in different situations:
- mobile device is inactive for a longer periode of time (30 minutes till 2 hours), user initiates session, error occures
- user terminates session, initiates a new session, error occures
In some situations the "sandclock" only appears a few seconds and the user can continue.
The mobile devices are configured with an always-active WLAN connection, there is no physical connection issue.
The AS400-host indicates no error.
The customer uses MC95 in the same configuration an there are no such issues.
Do you have any idea where to search for the problem?

I have a MC9190 device in which the wrong version of TelnetCE is installed. How do I update the TelnetCE version on the device?
I have tried to delete the Application/TE folder, but when the device is cold booted the folder re-appears.

Does the "Detect Out-Of-Range" properly suspend telnet transactions until the network signal is returned? Are their any other suggestions for a VT session?

Scripting support on Wavelink TE
For a customer I’m investigating the possibilities to alter the Display Background when a certain text appears from the Host.
In fact, they want the background to clearly change when the text ‘Succes” is send from the Host.
I found the possibility to use scripting with ‘Search_Screen” on every Screen Update.
But I could not find an option to do something with the display.
Playing only a beep sound is not enough, it’s a noisy environment.
Could anyone help me on this?

Wave link version: MOT_MC92_N0_WM65 Telnet CE (WM6.5) (I tried with 7.0 but not able to host it on RF gun Due to compatibility issue let me know if I need to use any other)
Brief Description:
We are trying to use these guns in integration with SAP server.We have published services (address: in screen shot) for SAP transaction which are going to access from RF guns.
- Need to know the exact information about license we will required.
- Which License from wave link ?
- Do we need to have Avalanche or Telnet will suffice our need.

Emulator unable to detect capslock if TelnetCE is started during boot using startup folder (MC 9190-G WinCE6.0)
I work in a warehouse and we have a mix of about 150 Motorola MC9090-G and MC9190-G
My issue is with the MC9190s running Windows CE6.0 and TelnetCE v7.3.204 (Though I have tried v7.3.186 and the same problem occurs)
When I start the client automatically at boot the majority of the time the client will be unable to detect when capslock is engaged. Instead of allowing all of the typed keys to be in all capitals it engages the shift and only capitalizes the first letter typed. I have tried using StartupCtl 1.6 as well as putting a .run file in \Application\Startup folder and the same problem results from either. When the automatic start of the program is disabled the capslock is detected normally all the time.
All of my MC9090s are perfectly fine and do not have this problem at all.
Running the application at boot time is a must to minimize the amount of fiddling users can do with the settings.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciated it.

Scan Handler (Enter after barcode scan) not working
Hello,
I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.
The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?
Scan Terminator is also \0D:
I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?
The scanner is a Motorola MC9090 with WIndows Mobile 5.1

Disable Start menu on MC9190/Wavelink
Using a Symbol/Motorola MC9190 with Windows CE 6.0, loading Wavelink TelnetCE in kiosk mode. Have screen locked down, except when pressing CTRL+ESC key combination the Window Start menu pops up and can be accessed with arrow keys & Enter. Any way to disable this? Or is this a Microsoft Windows CE issue?

Ctrl 2 as Barcode or F2 as Barcode?
Hallo,
i want to print a funktional key as Barcode.
We use Motorola 9090 with 28 keys and Wavelink TelnetCE.
Our Users Need to press "ctrl 2" 500 times a day. I want to solve this with a Barcode. Does anybody know how to do this?

Telnet CE 7.3 RFID on MC3190Z
Hello
I have 3 new MC3190Z with TelnetCE 7.3 installed. I am adding the VT220 instructions to the server to capture the tags read.
All of the TelnetCE RFID configuration options are at the defaults except for:
RFID Insert Mode is set to 'When Detected"
I send Esc("$C") to the reader to clear the tag memory
I send Esc("$1;0R") to enable the reader and not request a reply.
I then wait for the reader to reply with the tag information
The user pulls the trigger and starts scanning.. The reader replies with the 24 character hex tag information as the tags are read.
How do I sense when the user has released the trigger so I can start processing?

Cannot activate a license TelnetCE via Licence Server
Hello, I try to activate a license TelnetCE on Motoral device via Lisence Server.
My steps:
1. I installed Licence Server on computer and then I added licences.
2. I installed a client on Motorola device with license server settings as :146.212.32.15:1820
3. When I launch a terminal, it stucks in atteption to connect server.
The version 7.3 matched for both: server lisence and version of client.
In log file I see connection log:
