Scan Handler (Enter after barcode scan) not working

Hello,

 

I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.

Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).

My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.

I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?

I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.

 

Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

 

The scanner is a Motorola MC9090 with WIndows Mobile 5.1

Demo equipment license to Wavelink needed

We recently received a demo Zebra/Motorola MC55 from Zebra.  We are in need of a Wavelink license (even if temporary) so we can have our customer try this MC55 out with the terminal emulator running on it.  Can you provide a license to run Wavelink?  Even if it expires after a week or two, that's fine.  Thanks.

I am trying to find a way to change the color of the telnet window title bar. I want to have 5 distinct colors to designate which area a MC9090 unit belongs.

I am trying to find a way to change the color of the telnet window title bar.  I want to have 5 distinct colors to designate which area a MC9090 unit belongs.

I can change the color of the background but the session text becomes difficult to read with some colors.  I can change the color of the cursor but I would like it to stand out a little more.

We are using 7.0.1.33 telnet client on MC9090 and MC9190 units

Please tell me the difference between universal client version and device supported client version for Velocity.

I do not know where is it different for specifically.

 

 

In the case of the universal client version, does the API which can not be used exist?

Remap function keys

Hi,

 

I'm trying to remap F1 to [ALT][F1] with the Wavelink TE Android's version for a Panasonic FZ-A1, as far as I know F1 stands for 3B00 , but I don't know wich scape secunce stands for [ALT] key, and hoy to concatenate it with the [F1].

 

¿Does any of you has an idea about how to solve it?

Hello,

I use the wavelink TelnetCE Version 7.0.01 on a Windows CE (Motorola MC9100). Is there an option in the wavelink software for an automatic carriage return? I think about a putty client. With a putty client I can change the size from the terminal windows and at the end of a line putty makes an automaticc carriage return.

 

Is that also possible with wavelink TelnetCE?

telnet server could not log you in using ntlm authentication

I am getting this message and Win7 immediately closes the session.

 

anything that I should do on Win7 telnet server side?

It's the same all for windows mobile 6.5 and android clients.

Encrypt password in the Telnet Emulation configuration file?

Hi there,

 

Is there a way to encrypt or obfuscate the different passwords in the Telnet Emulation configuration file?

 

As of today, anyone who steals a device can navigate on the hard drive using a computer and USB cable, collect the Telnet Emulation files and recover most of the information in there, including password to change and/or exit the application.

 

This leads to get information about the telnet server address(es), getting to use the device as a gateway for any device to connect when access to the Operating System is granted (after exiting the application with the clear-text password recovered from the file), and some more.

 

If this is not possible today, is there anything planned in the near future? Ideally the password is encrypted in the file and the tool (Configmgr.exe) should only be able to read and change it, but not display it, as the tool itself is free for downloading on the Wavelink website.

IPAD Pro mit Bluetooth Tastatur Entertaste funktioniert nicht

Guten Morgen zusammen,

 

ich hätte eine Frage bezüglich einer Entertaste in der Wavelink TE for iOS App. Beim eintragen der Login Daten in die AS400, ist die Enter Taste ohne funktion und nach dem Drücken der Taste springt das Eingabefeld immer nur ein Feld nach unten.

Die Einstellung (Enter Taste umkehren damit die Bestätigung funktioniert.) habe ich eingestellt aber leider ohne erfolg. Gibt es da noch andere möglichkeiten die Entertaste zu programmieren ?

I've got two Motola MC 9190 scanners. Set up as follows.

 

Scanner 1  - Windows CE 5.0, Wavelink Telnet CE 7.0.94 - Web emulation profile.
Scanner 2 - Windows Mobile 6.5, Wavelink Telnet CE 7.0.147 - Web emulation profile.

 

 

Can someone explain why Scanner 2 is unable to set and unset a cookie? Any help appreciated. This webpage works fine on iOS, Chrome, Firefox, Sanner1 using IE or Wavelink ..
The other odd thing is that if I use the Zetakey browser on Scanner 2, that works fine  and also the embedded IE browser works fine, it's just the Wavelink Telnet CE browser that doesn't work on Sanner 2

 

any help appreciated.

Esc key not functioning in terminal session

Hello,

 

We recently received several new devices with Windows Mobile 6.  With these new devices I am unable to get the Esc key to register when in an active Terminal session.  I brought up the keyboard test,  and no value is returned when I press the Esc key.  Regular letter and number keys are returning the proper codes.  If I press the Esc key on the emulation keyboard the proper value does show up.

 

I have gone over and over the configuration settings without success.  I've compared the working device settings to our new device settings and can't find any differences.  It seems like I must be missing something simple.  Any assistance is much appreciated.

 

Device:  Motorola VC6090

Wavelink TelnetCE version:  7.3.79

Using OUTCOM: in 5250 emulation

Hello.

I have been tasked with migrating our old Symbol VRC6946 terminals to Motorola VC5090.

On the VRC6946, we previously used 'OUTCOM:\#1A:OUTCOM' in an output field to turn on a sick CLV450 scanner via the com port.

Try as I may, I can't get the VRC5090 to do the same.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wavelink TelnetCE 73197 Display Language - UTF8

I have Motorola MC3190 and TelnetCE 73197. I need select UTF8 in "Display Language". It is demand for correct display Russian language in the programm. I do not see UTF8 in list "Display Language".

How i do it?

TelnetCE Autologin Command Prompt not excecuted (return/enter not sent to the host)

Problem with Autologin feature which will stop and wait for user to press ENTER instead of executing command automatically.

 

Setup:

Wavelink TelnetCE - Host Profile - Autologin:

Name Prompt: "login:"

Name: "myuser1"

Password Prompt: "password:"

Password: "mypwd" (displayed as "*****"

Command Prompt: "domain:"

Command: "mydomain.com"

 

Result of connection test:

Autlogin correctly sets and executes login and password but for domain prompt only presets value "mydomain.com" and does not execute it (waits for user to press ENTER).

 

Expected result:

Return/ENTER is sent to host to execute the command.

 

Remarks:

The same problem occurs also for standard command (e.g. D:\MyApp\start.bat) when domain prompt is removed in the server setup.

 

Enviro:

Host: Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit, Georgia Softworks Telnet Server 8.05

Client: Motorola MC9190G, Windows Mobile 6.5, Wavelink TelnetCE 7.3.237 (latest available)
